The Best Resorts around.

I don`t know if you are like me, but I love traveling.
I just came back from a vacation with my family,
and we stayed in one of the best resort around and we had
such a wonderful time.

There is a strange thing about me in regards to the way
I choose my destination. It usually depends on how I feel.

I decided once to go to Italy after eating a wonderful “Osso Bucco”
An other time, I saw a movie and the story was filmed in Australia.
It looked so beautiful, I thought, I should visit that country.
And that`s how my husband and I ended up visiting Australia,
for 6 weeks.
This time we went to Disney World,a trip to remember for ever.

Although I love to discover other countries and other custom,I also like to travel with style.
This is particularly important for me. I have pass the time when I didn`t mind to settle down for ordinary accommodation. Now,I travel in the Best Resorts around.

You don`t have to be rich and famous to stay in 4-5 stars resorts. You might be thinking the price of the Time Share offered at the Resort is way out of reach. And that is true.
Who can afford to pay $20-$30,000 for one week every year or even every two years?  I can`t pay that kind of money .
But it doesn`t mean I don`t go to the best resorts either.

I still find difficult to find the right keywords and I still struggle with it.
I believe it is too much time consuming and beside,
it takes my time away from doing other things.

To find the right Keywords is the most important step to build your business.

We all know that our choice of keywords will influence:
1) The title of our website,
2) The content we will create for it,
3) The searches done on the subject
4) The chances our site and content will be found.

Internet Marketing Versus Affiliate Marketing Which Is Best?

Did you ever asked yourself if you should get involved in
Internet marketing versus Affiliate marketing?

I started thinking about it yesterday and although I have been
talking about Internet Marketing and Affiliate Marketing,
I think it would be worth it to explain a little what is involved
being in one versus the other.

So today I will explain Internet Marketing versus Affiliate Marketing.
1) What is Internet Marketing
Internet marketing  is a very useful tool to reach people. That`s where you offer the  products or services you want to sell. It can be products you created yourself, a MLM  company or a service you are offering.
In other words, you are doing your marketing online.

To achieve that, you have to be found on the Internet among  millions other  sites .
So, you have  to come up as one of the first websites listed in the search results on Google, Yahoo and all the other ones.
Your website has to be attractive , interesting, full of useful content  that would help people find answers to solve their problems .
In order to achieve that, your site has to be unique, professional looking, helpful,and contain lots of you information.

The starting point in the Internet Marketing, is to have the right keyword. I explained it in an earlier post:

Then you have to drive traffic to your website .
Here are 3 ways to do it:
1)Paid methods such as pay per click, banner advertising and other paid online strategies.
2)Social media has become an integral part of success (networking websites such as:Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
3)Free traffic ways are very popular amongst internet marketing beginners such as; video and article marketing

For someone who have never done marketing online, I strongly recommend to have a good training. I mentioned one that has helped me a lot in the past. You can also find a mentor,someone who will be following you step by step. Which ever way you choose, be consistent with it. Don`t jump from program to program.You need to stay focused

2)Now what is Affiliate marketing?
To keep it simple, it is a fancy way of saying: commission sales. Basically, you sell a product online and earn a percentage of the sale.
This can be done 2 ways:
1) You can send traffic directly to the merchant site (sometimes, some merchant refuses that method)
2) You send it through your own website. This is a much better approach.

I personally think that it is essential that you send traffic to your Website first. This way, if the person doesn`t  buy, they will still have the opportunity to sign up for your news letter or for a free gift .
Then, they will be on your list and you will be able to stay in touch with them whenever you have an other related  product .

I also recommend to have a site related to one subject only. It is not very professional to advertise all your products on the same website, it will look like you are to cheap to invest in your business.
It is not very expansive to buy a domain and set up either a blog or a website.

So it all depends of your personality: Internet Marketing versus Affiliate Marketing?
It is a question of choice. If you have an MLM and are trying to get a down line, then you probably will prefer the Internet Marketing option.You will be so busy with it, I doubt you will have time for Affiliate Marketing.

It doesn`t matter which choice you will take. One thing is certain. It takes time and efforts, but the rewards are all worth it.

“Why” Is The Key To Success!

Did you know that “Why” is the key to success?
A few days ago,I had a comment from a reader who
liked to hear about that subject.

Since I am continuously reading, I often find articles
that are part of what I believe in.
I found this one today and although it is very similar to something
I wrote in a previous post, it never hurts to read it twice.

Step 1: Commit to Your Why

I always stress to others the importance of knowing “Why You’re doing what you’re doing!!”.

Do you know “why” you’re doing what you’re doing besides “making money”?  It’s so important to get as detailed as possible with your goals, as this is the secret weapon behind staying in the game and seeing your goals and dreams through to the other end.

Step 2: Take Responsibility – You’re In Control

One thing that most of us tend to do when things fall apart is “blame others”.  I very rarely have someone come to me and say “Nicole, I realize that I’m the reason why I have yet to achieve my goals and I take full responsibility for my lack of success!”.

Instead, this is what I hear daily “I followed such and such and spent money with such and such, and they misled me.”  OR… “they wouldn’t return my call”, “they didn’t show me what to do”,  “they weren’t there for me”…

Does this sound like you?

If so, it’s time to take full responsibility for where you are and own it, with a determination to turn things around for yourself and stand behind your own success.

Step 3: Know Your Numbers – When You’re Down, by How Much and Why

Do you know specifically what you want to accomplish, how much you need to earn, how much your business is going to cost you and how much time you need to put in to make the numbers work?

One thing that I’ve noticed is that very few people really know their numbers.

If you want to really determine the who, what, when, where and why of your business, then you need to know the numbers.

Step 4: Own Your Destiny: What Could I Be if I Refuse To Fail

What are you afraid of?

I realize that we only have one life to live and if you seriously want to be on top of maximizing your life, you need to press forward relentlessly, as though your life depends on your success.

How To Start With Affiliate Marketing.

How to start  with Affiliate marketing…

With the economy the way it is right now,a lot of people are looking to make money with affiliate marketing.
But it can be a hard process to find the right niche or product to promote.
Often, new affiliate marketers are tempted to join the latest and greatest product release, expecting to make a ton of money. Unfortunately,they end up not making any money and they give up with affiliate marketing before they have given it a chance to succeed.

The ideal way to proceed with affiliate marketing is to find a product which is in demand but has few people promoting it. This is perfect for beginners.
The experienced marketers have all the tools and the money to invest in advertising, you don`t.
So what you should do is to go for products,(which may give the same result for the clients),but products that fewer people are promoting.

It will be much easier to get your website listed high in the search engines if there is a smaller amount of people promoting the same product. This also would provide you with a greater chance of earning money faster.

In order to find the right affiliate product, you have to define your niche. How do you go about finding the right niche?

I will try to resume it in a few words:
-Find something you are passionate about
-Find something you have knowledge about
-Find something that is in demand

But I will give you an example with the health and fitness affiliate programs.
That term itself is a very broad subject and trying to rank for it,is almost impossible. But on the other hand, there are a lot of sub-niches on that subject,revolving around that term.
That`s where you should focus your research,that`s where you will find a more profitable product to promote.

Try to be your potential client. What could he be looking for?
What are his need when he is searching on Google? What could you offer him that could solve his problem?
But if you could put yourself in your client`s shoes, and could read his mind, wouldn`t that be wonderful?
You can, almost…

Let`s say your potential client has a health problem…If you make a search for health products for example,this is too broad.
One of the best way to see if your niche has the potential to solve your client`s problem and to be profitable for you at the same time,is by doing a search using the Google Adwords Keyword research tool.

Here is how it works:
If you put in the term Health and fitness,into the search box you will come up with a ton of results. You will have the following information:
- how much competition there is for the keyword
– how many searches are done each month.
– how many searches are made in your area

You will also get other results such as a column for trends, here is where you can see if this product is in demand all year round, or if there are seasonal spikes.
Your best option is for a product that is in demand all year.

You also want to choose a product with a decent number of searches each month, ideally below 5,000 and with low competition.
Once you looked at all those results, choose your niche.Choose one  that you think will be beneficial for your potential client`s problem. It could be arthritic pain solution, reflux, or any other one.

By now you know what people are looking for, which terms they used on their research. All you have to do is to look for a product that will be appropriate for your client`s need, and build a website around it, and start driving targeted.
That`s how you start with Affiliate Marketing.

Marketing On You Tube!

Do you know how effective marketing on You Tube can be for your business?

You Tube was first designed to allow people to share their movies on line.
But it has become much more than just a video sharing website.

Anyone that owns a small digital camera or even a cell phone, can get on You Tube. It has become  such an enormous success, no one was expecting it to become such a phenomenon.
Millions of people are posting their videos on the site. Some are interesting , some not so much. For the Internet Marketer, marketing on You Tube has become  a way to be seen and with some chance, a way to get someone directed to their Website.
It is said to be the 3rd most visited Website in the world, therefore making it an excellent stepping stone for your marketing business ,as long as you know how to use it.

If your  goal is having people visiting your site through your video,marketing on YouTube is the way to go. The process is simple: In order to be able to put your content on You Tube , you have first to register and create a user name. Your user name should be the same as your website . That way , you will be allowed to start and end your video with your web address and people will be able to associate your video to you and also be able to comment on them.

Having a video on You Tube doesn`t mean that you will be picked up and that your business will be promoted right away. It will depend of:
-how popular your video will become
-how many times it will be seen
-how many time it will be forwarded to others
-if you created a good quality video
-if you have good content.
Ex:It you decide that you want it to be humorous, be careful with any jokes that could offend others.Marketing on You Tube is like marketing yourself. It should look like something that yourself would have like to have found .

You could tell me that you are not too keen on making movies. Well, their is an alternative for you.For instance,you can watch other people`s videos and  comment on them. If you like one in particular, and if it is pertinent to your website, add it to your Blog. This is an indirect way to market  your Website via You Tube.

Often, if you comment on someone`s video, your name can be picked up buy someone interested to learn about you, interested to find out who you are, what you are doing. If you have posted yourself in the past,or if you have a website. All that can help you to get known. This is how marketing on You Tube can be so efficient.

So. viewing ,commenting, rating videos on You Tube , is the second best option that is offered to you. It is easy to do and with your user name posted below the videos that you will comment, this is a great opportunity to get your name out there and to grow your business.

Working From Home Today!

Who hasn`t thought about working from home at one point in their life?  And I am one of those .
It isn`t just the idea of not having to face the traffic morning and night , or having a Boss who is demanding  or wanting to stay home with the children.
For me it is more than that.

I believe  that we have a path in front of us, from the moment we are born. We only need to know when we should take the right turn.

There are situations, it could be family related or others, were we are somehow push into making some decisions about our future. These are not necessarily the ones we would have wanted to make in the first place. But it happened that way.

I can rely to that because this has happened to me in the past. I would have love to be my own Boss and I would have loved to work from home, have the freedom to choose how to live my life.

But I became a nurse,without really wanting to go into that profession. I did it for family reasons. Over the years, I learned to love what I was doing. I knew that I was good at my work and appreciated from my patients.
But I always had that feeling that I could have done something else with my life. I had the feeling that I could become someone who could influence the life of others.

Although I tried a few times to re-orient my Career, there were again some obligations that held me back. But I know now that it doesn`t matter from which back ground you come from, from which country you live in, it doesn`t matter which level of education you reached, if you want to live the life you have always wanted, it is never too late to make the changes.

There are a lot of people out there, I think specially to the younger generation, who seemed to see their life going by . They are in a spiral that doesn`t seem to stop. It is work, commuting to the job, the return with the family obligations, and life seems to go by without them having time to Live.
Thinking about working from home seems to be the thing to do.

There are also the baby boomers, and I am one of them, who maybe didn`t fulfilled their dream, who didn`t  reach their potential, who would have  love to work from home, be their own Boss.
They are the one who  would have love the freedom that working from home can give. And there are those who may be in a situation today where an additional income would be very welcome.

Our path is there. Sometimes we have to take risks and scare ourselves with the decisions we are making. But most of all we have to do it, take action, make the changes we desire more than anything else.
I do believe that the Internet is the future.
I barely knew anything about it a few years back. But I am a very determined person, and I decided one day, that I would do something with my life, and work from home with the Internet, was what came to my mind.
And I learned, took numerous trainings, some good ,some not so good, but I did it. I took the” bull by the horns” and took control over my life.

I must say that I encountered many falls and was very discouraged at times. I did what a lot of people have done before me and will do after me, I tried so many programs that were promising me to make a lot of money, (I can`t remember how many). I followed all the steps, but nothing promised happened.

So don`t fall for that. Even if your desire to be working from home is overwhelming, get the right training, and most of all follow the right person. This is one of the best advice I can give you, have a good mentor. That will save you a lot of time, and get you where you want to be, way faster.
I would want to encourage anyone who thinks that becoming their own Boss, that working from home is impossible. Please, don`t think the opposite.

There is a lot of money to be made on Internet ,when you know how.
It isn`t an easy path,you will have to work. But once you will be on your way, you won`t need to put in so many hours. And the rewards will be there.

And this is a part of what I want to leave behind. I want to help others to live the life they have always pictured in their mind.To have the life they deserve to have. We are not on this earth, to be unhappy. We deserve to be happy.

I have a vision in my head, I have a desire that is so intense, that there is no way I will not reach it. I have an outstanding opportunity to promote, and a few other things going on.
And I have an even bigger plan, which I will talk about in the future.

We are the only one stopping ourselves.

The Power Of The Words!

Did you ever asked yourself how the power of the words you use, can influence your life your business and the way people respond to you? I have been aware of that subject quite a while ago, but I think that it is often underestimated.I talked in a previous post about the use of trigger words and unbearable words( see my post about the Cup cakes and the Chocolate).

Words are very powerful:
-They can make you laugh,
-They can make you cry,
-They can hurt you
-They can console you,
-They make you feel good  or bad,
and the list goes on.

Did you ever asked yourself what it could do to your business if you could bring more clients, more leads , more money, by simply using the power of the words ?
A lot has been written on the subject, and I particularly like the one from that women who has been working for the  editors and producers of Time, CNN, The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Vogue, People, Oprah, and hundreds of other media.

Fed Up Of The Get Rich Programs?

Did you ever wondered : Is Internet Marketing a scam?
Well I have come to a point where I am so fed up with all the get rich programs we see and the false hopes we are  bombarded with on the Web, I wonder sometimes, how is it possible to make it online.

As I mentioned before, I have so far, followed a lot of people or Gurus, (that`s how they are referred as). I have been full of  hope and every time, I have been sure  that I had finally found the right one.

Did that ever happened to you?
Did you feel that you have not been getting what you have been looking for?
Did you think that you have been taken advantage of?
Have you been left hanging dry,and tried to work on your own?

I guess that for some people the answer would be : All of the above.
And you would not be the only one thinking the same thing.

I don`t believe that Internet Marketing is a scam. There are a lot of success stories to prove it. I think that the reason we don`t seem to make it work, is because of the overload of info and programs on the Web.
You could have a very good program in your hands, but usually, the problem is to see it through, to stay focused.
Often,we are really into it.
Things seems promising, and “OUPS” ,comes an e -mail to our inbox with a fabulous offer we just can resist,again one of those get rich programs.

So what happens, we neglect the program you were working on and we think : What if this one would be the one to solve all my problems….. ? Does this sound familiar?
I am quite certain this happened to you at one time or an other. Well ,I decided to prove to myself that Internet Marketing is not a scam business and forget about all the get rich programs around.

I am following a very intensive marketing training right now, and this time I decided that it will be “The ONE”, and the only one I will concentrate on. I even took a personal coach.
In order to stay focused, I have  also taken all the precautions, not to get into the trap of an other terrific offer again.

-I quit two programs that I was doing at the same time .
-I cancelled a few unnecessary sites that I was looking at every day,
-I decided to have my goals in front of me, on my desk. (I had them already written but they were not visible).
-I am looking at them everyday from now on,
-And I made a promise to myself: I will make it ,and make it big .

If I keep on on the patch I decided to follow for the next 2 months,without failing, I will reward myself  with a trip to New York. OK ,it may sound small or not worth it. But we all know that we need to have small goals before getting to the bigger ones.
When I get to the final line, I will travel the World, what`s about that……

Internet marketing is not a scam, go for it, take the right tools and be sure to follow the right person.
And who knows, you might just decide that you want to follow my steps….

Do You Have Your:Term Of Use And Privacy Policy!

Term of Use and Privacy Policy is a subject that is rarely mentioned by anyone, but it is one of the most important you should have in order to protect yourself from an eventual Law Suit or from Government law Violation.
You never know how your content or your comments, could be interpreted on a Law point of view.

I heard of example as the following:
A person was blogging about her dog and the food she was feeding it.
At one point, her Blog was seen by a company who was selling Dog Food. She was contacted and was asked if she could try some of their food ,for free.
Of course, she said why not.

Then she kept on blogging about that new Dog food ,without really knowing what the Company or the Dog food was all about. She had only been happy to get something for free. Believe it or not,she was charged for false representation, and was fined a lot of money.

The Law considered that, because she accepted the free food, she was like an indirect sale`s person and when the Dog Company was charged for misrepresentation, so was she.
This is only one example to prove you how easy you get in trouble if you don`t protect your site with a good and legal: Term of Use and Privacy Policy.

I have each of them on every Website and Blogs I own and you should do the same.
There are a few places you can get the forms from . Some are more expensive than others. It doesn`t matter which company  you use, the important is to have a Term of Use and Privacy Policy on your site.
You need to be protected specially if you are jut starting. You don`t want to be shut down before even starting to make money Online.

The rules are more and more severe, and you have enough to worry about. You don`t need to be worried and get involved in a law suit.
So go find out more about The Term of Use and Privacy Policy and make sure that you protect yourself.
