Are You Getting Leads?

Ever heard of “Thinking Like A Fisherman”?
Do you see yourself catching a big fish, like the one on the picture?

If you have fishermen in your family, you know how passionate and organized they can be, when it comes to plan a fishing trip.
I don`t know of any fishermen that goes out fishing, thinking that this time, they will come back with the biggest fish they have ever taken.
They are well prepared, some have “Sonars” so they find the right spots, they have the best cane and all the best flies ,the best baits, etc.
They know their business.

In marketing, it is the same. If you want to get leads, you have to be “thinking like a fisherman”.
You have to be where the fishes are. The ocean is so wide, you have to use strategies otherwise ,you will never catch anything.
If you just put up a website and hope that someone comes and sees it, good luck, you will be still waiting in 10 years from now.

In order to be the great fisherman you want to be, you have to be where the people are .
If you just sit all by yourself and  don`t talk to anyone, then nothing will happen.
You won`t build a network, if you stay at the same place and wait for the prospects to come find you.
You have to go and find them….That`s the only way you will get leads.

I will go over some strategies, which can be done right now, just by reaching out

#1 -If you don`t  know how to start , begin “thinking  like a fisherman“: throw your line, your net…
What`s about taking to the person beside you?  This is what is called your “warm market”
That person could be interested by your business, you never know. And by doing that, you not only have the possibility to filter your leads, it gives you the opportunity to develop your selling skills as well.
You can do that in a very informal way. Invite your friends to join you for a coffee or invite them at your house for a casual meeting. The idea is not to scare them away or to pitch them your idea.
Your best leads can be around the corner

Instead, you start thinking like a Fisherman. What do you do?
You ask questions, you go fishing for clues. By asking casual questions, you might pick up some words that will make you say to yourself: “She or he, seems to have some financial, family, health problems, I know I can help”.
I will call her or he ,back and go deeper onto that subject.
Maybe that person will  be interested by what I am offering and I will solve his or her problem. That`s how you go fishing and that`s how you start adding leads to your list.

#2 Once you went through your warm market, think about the cold one.Depending of your niche,
start going to forums and groups:
-Find groups that could need your product or service
-Put yourself in front of your target audience
-Keep up to date with what is going on in your niche
-Start building back links to your website
-Get ideas for your articles
There is a lot you can learn by joining forums,
Some people are using only this method to get their leads.

And again try ” Thinking like a Fisherman“. Be ready with your baits.
Have a Blog or a Website and be very interactive. If you already have a list, provide quality teaching, show your prospects that you are very knowledgeable about a lot of subjects.
Let them know that you have a solid organization and that you are a leader , ready to help them grow their business if they follow you.

The key to succeed is to think about your client first and think about you, next. Your prospect should be your priority. You have to want to help them solve a problem first, then once that is done , you both are rewarded. That`s the way creating a strong and effective network marketing should work.

And keep on fishing,  Think like a fisherman. A fisherman will make sure to bring fishes every time he goes on the lake or river. Do the same, set yourself some goals and try to get to the numbers you set in your mind.
For example, if you want to recruit 10 people in a week, if you can recruit 5 in 2 days ,that will mean that you for sure will be able to recruit more and maybe go over your goals.

The idea is to never give up , keep going ,set your goals, go in the right spots, and try getting those leads.
Remember that if you work hard , you will be rewarded , all your efforts will pay off one day.

Most fisherman always comes back with fishes in their basket. Do the same, get your tools out and create goals.

If you wish to get more info regarding how to find forums send me an e-mail.
I will give you a list of places you should go to, and how to find the forums
that are best related to your niche.
In the mean time, those leads are there, all you have to do is going fishing for them….

Sincerely

Giselle
