Is Network Marketing a scam?

If you have been  thinking about working from home , you probably ask yourself:
Is Network Marketing a Scam?

More than ever, people wants to be financially independent and a lot would like start a business  from home.
The problem is that there has been a lot of  misconceptions about network marketing .
Those false presumptions have been passed on from one inexperienced network marketer to the other, adding more confusion along the way.

If you decide to join any MLM companies, you will for sure  be asked  some of the following questions:
1-Is network Marketing really a scam?
2-Will I get rich in a month`s time?
3-Are those in my warm market  my ideal prospects?
4-Should I approach any individual looking for extra income?

If you have been working from home, in a MLM company  , you know those answers .
But not everyone know how  to address these common questions .

1) Fallacy: Network Marketing is a Pyramid scam

Fact: Though there are many companies out there posing as MLM business model.
The “Network Marketing Industry” is not a pyramid scam.
Although Pyramid Schemes do exist, they are mainly establish with one purpose in mind. They recruit people in their organization without the exchange of goods and products, or selling any products at all.
All they are interested in, is taking people`s money and run with it .
Unfortunately,while working from home , and not having advices from the outside, one can be trapped into one of them

Don`t forget that  with the use of Internet, it is very easy today to create beautiful website, put a compensation plan and begin marketing that company.
However ,it doesn`t take much time either to `sniff out `these type of schemes.

The easiest way to determine if a company is legitimate or not, is simple:
-Try to find a support line or contact us tab ,which should be set up in the website. If you can`t find any , or if the one   they  don`t answer when you call,, chances are that there isn`t any.
-Try to find out where is their headquarters.
Every legitimate business has to have an actual company headquarters
If you can`t find any of the above then ,the chances are that, this particular Network Marketing is a scam.

2) Fallacy : I can get rich quickly by joining a Network Marketing company

Fact: One thing to say, money doesn`t come easy, not even in network marketing. Of course there is some people who made a fortune working from home, in a fairly short period of time,   but it is not the average.
It takes  time , marketing efforts, and sales to be  extremely successful in this industry.

It works the same like any other businesses. If you know someone who opened a store or a restaurant,
you can be sure that they worked 14 hours a day to get it going.
The difference between a traditional business and a Network marketing business ,is that it takes less time and less investment to get started. Also, you don`t have to work 12 hours a day to generate profits.

By utilizing effective marketing strategies and techniques,you can be well on your way to success in a much more rapid period than if you would have been in a traditional business setting.
And don`t forget that you are working from home with all the advantages that this brings you along the way.
Network Marketing is not a Scam, it is a way to work on the Web in order  to reach millions of people.

3) Fallacy : Your warm market is your best prospects

Fact : Your warm market may be your ideal prospect at the beginning , but chances are that most of them will not be too responsive to your business.

If you know a lot of people and if you are in many organizations, churches ,or maybe very involved with your community, you may have some potential leads .
But unfortunately, it isn`t what it use to be.  In the past, everyone was told to contact their friends ,
family and blast them with your beautiful opportunity.
This is the main reason why people associate Network Marketing as being a scam ( they think it is one of those pyramidal schemes.)

Today, there is a different approach that is called ” Attraction Marketing “.
They have to know you, trust you , they have to see the advantages to join your company, and then , after seeing all that  ,if they are really interested in working from home , as you are, they will sign up with you. But not before you show them the patch to follow

4) Fallacy : Network marketing is ideal for any individual seeking an additional source of income

Fact:1- Even if you know some people who are in needs of an extra income, not everyone will warm up to the idea of network marketing. (Again a lot have still the idea of being taken in something that is illegal,a scam.
2-There is still a lot of misconceptions about the subject, and not everyone sees “The Network Marketing Industry”
as an ideal source of profits.
3-Also the niche you are in could be something completely opposite to their likes, their taste or their belief.
You may have an excellent product, but if it doesn`t ` click` with the person in front of you, this won`t work.

Before you start convincing your prospects, into joining your opportunity,make sure that they have a fresh outlook on the internet industry and that they understand that Network Marketing is not a scam.
Also make sure that they are willing and ready to put efforts and time into building any type of revenue
It will avoid disappointment for yourself, and for the other person,as they will quit eventually.
